The worthy engine offered was a 289 cubic inch, solid lifter V8
with a
Cobra high-rise aluminum intake and a 715 CFM Holley carburetor
with
vacuum secondaries. Despite the cast iron Hi-Po
manifolds connected
to dual exhausts it was still rated at 306 horsepower.
The package was
topped off by finned, crinkle-finish "COBRA" valve covers
and a chrome
air cleaner. 4-speed top-loader transmission,
Shelby 10-spoke
aluminum wheels , Carpeted interior,
Detailed interior headliner, Nylon fabric seatbelts,
