with the introduction of the Stingray body. The 1965 model year saw
changes with the braking system and engine upgrades. It was the last
year for the fuel injected engine configuration. GMP has faithfully

Auto Art Corvettes
Information from production manager in China.
The
63 Corvette 71181 and 71191 are under production (painting process).
Initially, we planned to produce 71181 first. However, we found that
there
are quite a lot of tiny bores on the
body shell part of which may be
caused by the improper tooling design which made the die-casting
performed not well.
We are trying to do something on the paints and see if the
problem could be fixed.
We may have to postpone the production for this.
If this is the case, we have to produce 71191 first.
It will then be probably available within November.
71192
will not be produced this year. We will produce one color first.
71171
will only be produced early next year.
There
are always a lot of factors affecting the production plan.
We will
announce the available time only when the production really started.
All of the following cars have
estimated issue dates cancelled and will be updated when made
available in 2010.
