The "Killer Car" as it was called is shown on the line in
1970 at the first annual "Supernationals" at the Ontario Motor Speedway
in Ontario Calif. This was the first time NHRA drag racing was televised
live on "ABC Wide World of Sports." Ray Allen killed the competition
here as well with a Super Stock victory at this last race of the 1970
season. Allen also lowered his own 11.55 ET record to 11.33 ET on the
final winning pass.

race day decals, also has side/door windows
with decals,
and under the cowl hood a detailed 427 with 4 tube
headers.
Inside has a 4 speed, a wired readable dash mounted tach,
and underneath a driveshaft loop, traction bars with snubbers,
a 12 bolt
rear, all riding on Cragar S/S mags
(deep dish in the rear) and
Goodyear slicks. Ed was also
the original test driver for the
Olympic Gold Prototype
'69 Yenko Camaro, in adition won many NHRA
events
with this car - back in '69. This 1:18 car is properly
licensed through Ed Hedrick, who is still racing today
(2008) at 70
years old.
